Idaho Elopement - Southern Idaho
1. Twin Falls Canyon
Twin Falls Canyon offers unique scenery with amazing lava rock canyon walls and timeless waterfalls. Imagine you say your vows under a waterfall then enjoy the rest of your day kayaking the Sanke River to celebrate! If you’re up the ultimate adventure, the Twin Falls bridge is one of the few places in the world you can still base jump from. It is a 3600-foot tall bridge that towers of the Snake River. A Base Jumping Elopement in Twin Falls would be an epic adventure!
2. City of Rocks
If you’re in search of an epic desert location with interesting rock formations look no further than the City of Rocks. It is a rock climbers paradise in southern Idaho. With its 60 story Granite peaks it is a mini version of Yosemite National Park with much fewer visitors.
3. Craters of the Moon
Craters of the moon offers “weird" scenery, as described by the National Park Service website. It truly is different but in the most beautiful way imageable. Craters of the Moon is a geologic wonderland filled with exposed fissures, lava fields, lava tubes, craters and cinder cones which form a strangely beautiful volcanic sea. Craters of the moon is also a Dark Sky Preserve making it one of the best places in the world to see the night sky. Wouldn’t it be amazing to capture your wedding photo with the Milkyway ask your backdrop!
