Idaho Elopement - Eastern Idaho

1. Island Park

Imagine being surrounded by beautiful Log Pole Pinetree forests, softly flowing rivers, vast lakes and lots of adventure! Island Park is an adventurer’s paradise in all seasons. In the summer Island Park is popular for camping, fishing, hiking, boating, river floating and off-roading (dirt bike/ATV). The fall season will bring a different look to the valley, fall foliage will brighten up the green scenery while still offering the same adventures. Island Park turns into amazing winter wonderland around mid-October or early November with lots of cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, and snowmobiling to be had. Also, Island Park is only 20 minutes from the city of West Yellowstone and the West entrance into Yellowstone National Park. Island Park truly offers so much for the one-of-a-kind elopement in Idaho.

2. Teton Valley

The Idaho side of the Grand Tetons are the best side (and a half the price!). Driggs, Victor and Tetonia offer similar views of the Grand Tetons without having to jump through the National Park hoops. You could elope at an AirBnB or right under the Grand Teton at Grand Targhee Ski Resort in either summer or winter. Check out Wedding at Grand Targhee Resort. A quick drive from Teton Valley over the Jackson Pass will drop you into Jackson Hole Wyoming and the gateway to Grand Teton National Park! Teton valley is a beautiful spot for your Idaho elopement!

3. St Anthony Sand Dunes

Most people don’t think of Sand Dunes when you think of Idaho but let me tell you, the St Anthony Sand Dunes are some of the best in the US! People travel from all over to come visit our Sand Dunes. If you and your fiancé want to hop in a dune buggy and ride to the top of a 400 foot sand dune to say your vows, the St Anthony Sand Dunes are one of the few places in the world to do that! Renting a Dune buggy or ATV is very easy and I'll be happy to help you every step of the way.

4. Ashton

Ashton Idaho is a quant little town with a strong Farming background. With permission from a farmer you could elope in a beautiful golden grain field with the Grand Tetons off in the distance. The best time of year for this is early to mid July because the grain fields will start to be harvested in late July or early August. Ashton is also a Fishermans paradise with plenty of rivers and streams to enjoy all spring, summer and fall! You could say your vows next to a slow and steady river or on a drift boat. Ashton is the perfect spot for a laid back quite elopement in Idaho.
